Ministry Update

8 09 2013

We saw a fruitful week of ministry this week in an around Bakersfield. Preached Monday at the bus station in Downtown Bakersfield. On Tuesday we took the Gospel door to door and saw over 100 houses receive tracts. Bakersfield is a city of over 350,000 people and about 500,000 when you include the surrounding towns in the county. Our goal is get the Gospel to at least 100,000 homes by the end of next year. This will be done by canvassing Gospel tracts house to house as well as knocking on doors to try and speak one to one about the Lord.

On Thursday we knocked over 200 doors and witnessed to several one to one. I spoke to a young man named Mike who let me share the entire plan of salvation with him. He was not ready to be saved but I left him with a tract and contact info in case he wanted to talk again. On Thursday we published my first book Lessons From My Fathers which tells the story of my families spiritual heritage as well as Scriptural lessons I have learned from my dad and grandpa. The book is available on Amazon for kindle or iPhone and the paperback will be out within the next week.

On Friday several of us evangelized outside of the circus in Downtown Bakersfield. We set up at two different locations and had two preachers going for an hour straight. We had several others passing out tracts and doing one to ones. Praise the Lord for His goodness and thanks to those of you who uphold us in prayer or with financial support. I have been able to minister better during this season of unemployment and pray that perhaps the Lord will provide through His people enough to stay in full time Christian work. If you would like to give to the minisitry you can click on our donate tab at the top of the page but please always remember us in prayer. God Bless!
