Partner With Us

2 09 2015

It’s been a while since I posted on the website. It’s been a very busy last few months but we hope to be able to get back to regularly trying to post something encouraging or edifying on the website. A lot of changes are coming the ministry over the next couple of months so bear with us. We appreciate your friendship in the gospel and your following us on here is really encouraging to us.

If you have been following our ministry over last few years  you will know that each year I attend the Super Bowl Outreach. This event is hosted by Sports Fan Outreach International a wonderful ministry organization. My first event was the 2013 Super Bowl Outreach in New Orleans, Louisiana and I can’t tell you what a blessing that was to my heart. I have never experienced anything like I experienced there in New Orleans. It was a chance to spend a few days meeting new people, brothers and sisters in Christ who have become great friends of mine. We prayed together, we learned together by hearing the speakers, we fellowshipped and we shared the Gospel with the lost together.

At the end of those couple of days I felt sadness in my heart. I actually wept a little bit to be honest. I felt as though I were leaving friends who I had known for years though we only spent a few days together. The closeness and love I experienced changed my life. I met Bill Adams who oversees the ministry. He has become a mentor and example in the ministry to me and I feel a deep affection for him.

This event stole my heart and each year this is our families big trip. We spend our vacation time laboring in the Gospel work here rather than relaxing at the beach because we so love this opportunity. In 2014 Amy and I attended the Super Bowl Outreach in New York City. In 2015 I was honored with an opportunity to be a team leader at the Super Bowl Outreach in Phoenix, Arizona.

In 2016 the Super Bowl is being held in one of the most spiritually dark cities in America. It is being held in San Francisco, California. This area has a special effect on me because I’m from Redwood City just 26 miles south of San Francisco. This would be a chance to take the Gospel to the place I grew up as well as to a desperately needy area. I am again honored to lead a team this year as well.

There are many costs associated with attending including travel and the cost of participating (food, shelter, transportation, tracts etc). I would ask that you consider partnering with us in this effort by making a contribution towards someone attending the event. I don’t want finances to keep anyone away. You can donate online, or if you want to make a tax deductible donation you can email me for ways to do that. Please consider a donation of any amount. All monies raised will go directly to the cost of attending the outreach or travel. Thank you and please pray between now and January as around 100 evangelists prepare to hit the streets with the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the over 1 million or so who will be attending the festivities. The biggest message in the world, on the biggest day in the world. God bless.

For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity. Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.” (Philippians 4:16-17)
