Ministry Update: February-March 2017

12 04 2017

I say this all the time but again I’m sorry to be so late getting our letter out. We recently got some internet connection at home which will make it a lot easier to prepare these updates. We have been staying busy so far this year and we hope to pick up more steam as the year moves on.

In February we joined about 100 other Christians in Houston, Texas for my 5th Super Bowl Outreach. We had a blessed time preaching, tracting and talking to people about their souls. We gave out about 600 tracts and I was able to preach the Gospel a number of times.

Our ministry among the inmates at North Kern State Prison has been a real blessing to me as I hope it’s been to them. In February and March I was able to hold chapel and preach to hundreds of men. We saw 5 make professions of faith in Christ and about 40 Gospels of John were given to the men.

Pray that we can schedule more meetings in churches and that God will open pulpits for opportunities to preach. Pray also for the men in prison that God will open many hearts and that sinners will be converted. We also hope to be out on the streets more as we move into better weather so pray for us there that the Lord will bring people across our paths prepared to hear the message of hope found in Christ alone.

Please consider supporting us with your prayers as well as financially (giving instructions are available on our website) as we desire to serve the Lord full time in the Gospel ministry. There are so many people who need to hear the Gospel and so little time to labor and serve the Lord in this life.

“If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our dead bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms wrapped about their knees, imploring them to stay. If Hell must be filled, let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go unwarned and unprayed for.” – C.H. Spurgeon
