This is quite dear to my heart because of personal situations where I received slanderous persecutions by those who don’t understand the Gospel. I’m not saying all sin is the same but the way we treat certain sins makes it seem that we are creating undue burdens on people. It all stems from a lack of understanding of the Gospel and God’s forgiveness of repentant sinners. Watch this clip which so wonderfully explains are common error in the church concerning purity.
