Been humming an old hymn ever since the shower this morning, “Just over in Gloryland we’ll live eternally the saints on every hand are shouting victory their songs of sweetest praise drift back from Heavens shore and I can’t feel at home in this world anymore.” Sometimes I feel like those on the other side are just cheering us on in our journey kind of like at the end of a race where everyone is lined up cheering on the runners urging them it’s not that much farther.
“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2
